Over half of America's low income children are growing up in homes without books. That’s millions. Millions of children live in a book desert- no books to spark imagination. No books to strengthen their critical thinking skills. No books to connect with the outside world. (That's not going to be the case because of GGAB and donors like you!)
Together we can give new books and resources for kids who need them most, to help continue to fuel a love of reading and learning.

Over 200 APS title one students will be invited to attend the Reading with
Shepherd Daisy Event. This program and event encourages the children to read 15 minutes a day to their pets or stuffed animals. GGAB will provide new, high-quality books to children as we aim to magnify the importance of reading.
