GGAB 2021 Mid-Year Review

Our mission is to put new award winning books in the hands of children who need them most. Providing unique tools that promote youth literacy, Global Give-A-Book has been a smashing success. This comes as no surprise to us but it is still a joy to see.

Accomplishments:

• Awarded 501(c) 3 nonprofit status GuideStar Silver Seal of Transparency.

• Albuquerque City Council invited GGAB to read in Lavender Libros.

• 12 Consecutive months of GGAB Newsletters, Podcasts and Social Media Engagement.

• To date, with the support of local community organizations we have distributed 1,300+ GGAB products.

Ongoing Projects:

• Church Alive’s Easter Food to Children program received 250 GGAB products.

• Comunidad Mediadora Internacional Juarez, México received 100 GGAB products.

• Casa Amor Orphanage De Cuauhtémoc, México received 100 GGAB products.

• St. Felix Pantry Rio Rancho, NM has received 150 GGAB products.

• His Place Mission food pantry received 40 GGAB products.

• Diaper Depot Santa FE, NM received 150 GGAB products.

• Food 4 Kids Summer Program Santa Fe, NM delivered 400+ GGAB products.

• Triple-Braided Cord Co. with GGAB delivered 100 books to first responders.

• “Reading with Shepherd Daisy” delivered 50 GGAB products to Animal Humane NM.

GGAB in collaboration with multiple community organizations has made the promissory commitment to distribute 21,000+ GGAB books to children.
