GGAB was recognized as a 2023 Top-Rated Nonprofit by GreatNonProfits.org
The GuideStar Gold Seal of Transparency awarded by Candid
Founder and Executive Director Sylvia Maser's story of Global Give-A-Book was featured in the best-selling book The Giving Stories. This publication shares the stories behind heart-led nonprofit leaders available on Amazon.
Partnered with over 25 community organizations
Global Give-A-Book turned 3! In our three years as a nonprofit, we have given 20,000 books to children who need them most!

Literacy Events:

Lavender Libros in the Village hosted by the Village of Los Ranchos
Lavender Libros in the Sky hosted by The Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum
The Reading with Shepherd Daisy Read-a-Thon, hosted by GGAB's UNM Reading Tutors, presented children at the Cesar Chavez Community Center with new books and a certificate of accomplishment for completed book reports.

Ongoing Community Projects:

In collaboration with community partners and local food pantries, we have created a direct link to the children who can most benefit from our programs. These connections build on established delivery points for every box of food distributed, including GGAB materials.
GGAB expanded into West Texas with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.

Texas Community Project

Partners:

Stride Inc. is a nationally recognized business for integrated employment of adults with special needs. These talented individuals lovingly pack and prepare GGAB products for distribution.
The passing of The Community Solar Act, Bill SB84, was a significant win for not only the citizens of Albuquerque but also the state of New Mexico. Affordable Solar selected GGAB as the namesake of a 35-acre solar farm- "The Global Give-A-Book Community Solar Project.”
