I got to meet and work with another GGAB reading tutor/intern named Victoria this morning. Today was unique because we worked with all of the Peter's Paycheck employees to package books; usually it's just 2 or 3 of us! This was also a special occasion because we had a celebratory lunch planned, organized by Sylvia. It was both a thank you to Peter's Paycheck and a celebration of LaLa, one of the employees at Peter's Paycheck. It was her birthday. LaLa loves pink, and the lunch was all things pink and all things delicious thanks to Sylvia and Rudy's Bar-B-Q. It was special to LaLa and sweet for all of us to share this moment with her.
