Summer 2024
On June 7th, the Super Walmart on Wyoming/Menaul in Albuquerque, New Mexico (store #5491) awarded GGAB $1,000 to support our local youth literacy efforts.
This generous investment will be used to purchase new, quality books for distribution through local food pantries, ensuring that children in need have access to valuable reading materials. By partnering with GGAB aims to reach more families and make a lasting impact on the community's youth literacy rates.
Elizabeth Stock (Second from Left), Donna Hollingsworth (Last on Right), and Walmart management represented GGAB at the award ceremony. This award marks a significant step forward in GGAB's mission to close the literacy gap and support educational development in New Mexico.
United, we can bridge the divide in book access.
Your investment directly supports our mission to provide quality books to children who need them the most and empower children with the tools for success.
