Celebrating with Affordable Solar

We at Global Give-A-Book (GGAB) are thrilled to share an exciting milestone in New Mexico’s journey toward clean energy—and the positive impact it’s having on local communities!

At the recent Powering Community Happy Hour, Affordable Solar celebrated the launch of five new community solar projects, part of a total of seven projects representing 35 megawatts of clean electricity for homes and organizations across the state. This commitment to renewable energy is helping build a sustainable future—and we’re proud to be part of it.

GGAB was honored to be one of the nonprofit partners to receive a $45,000 contribution from Affordable Solar. These funds will help us continue our mission of providing books and educational resources to children around the world, fostering literacy, learning, and opportunity for the next generation.

We are incredibly grateful to Affordable Solar for supporting our work, and to their sister company Gridworks for their role in bringing these projects to life. Partnerships like these demonstrate how clean energy initiatives can create real, tangible benefits for communities, from powering homes to supporting education and literacy.
