IN THE KNOW:

Global Give-A-Book has been awarded a Silver Seal of Transparency from Guide Star Nonprofit Profiles.

Guide Star is one of the top resources used by donors to assist them in deciding whether or not to give to particular charities. The Silver Star designated Global Give A Book as an officially vetted and approved nonprofit.


LAVENDER LIBROS By Albuquerque City Counsel

Lavender Libros is a Children's Book Reading Program by local government and community members in Albuquerque, NM. City Councilor Cynthia D. Borrego initiated the Lavender Libros book reading project to demonstrate care and outreach to New Mexico's children.

READING WITH SHEPHEARD DAISY PROGRAM

This program fosters the love of reading through pets! How fun is that? Children are encouraged to read 15 minutes to their pets: dogs, cats, goldfish, teddy bear or even a pet rock!

2021 COMMUNITY GIVE BACK

Saturday, July 31st from 10AM to 1PM

We are doing everything we can to prepare our students for school. 500 new, high-quality books will be given out with backpacks, school supplies and other necessities to our Northwest Albuquerque and South Rio Rancho students.


Entertainment includes face painting, live bands, games, food stations with hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks!

We are thrilled to announce our newest partnership with the Duke City Gladiators of Albuquerque, NM. They will be aiding in our mission to supply 500 new, award-winning books to children in the Rio Grande Valley in preparation of the Fall 2021 school year.

FOOD 4 KIDS SUMMER PROGRAM

GGAB has gifted 400+ books to be included along with food donations as part of the FOOD 4 KIDS Summer Program hosted by the The Food Depot Santa Fe.


Saint Felix Pantry restores hope to families and individuals in need by providing food, clothing, education and referral services in the Felician Franciscan tradition. As part of this partnership, GGAB donates books on a monthly basis to be gifted to children and families along with food donation boxes.

DRAFTED BY JORDAN OLIVER

In an effort to spread love and support for out hometown heroes, GGAB has partnered with Triple Braided Cord Co. Triple Braided Cord Co. gifted 100+ copies of "Drafted" to police officers, firefighters, and military personnel in honor of the work they do to keep our communities safe.

Gives food to over 1,300 Native American children from the reservations. GGAB wants to give each child a new quality book! Many of these children do not have the internet at home, leaving them without the opportunity to read online.
