La Cueva DECA team La Cueva DECA's goal is to bring awareness to the literacy gap in New Mexico by working with GGAB. By helping package and deliver books, raising money, visiting elementary schools, reading and giving books to children, and participating in community events with GGAB, these girls hope to close the literacy gap one book at a time.

GGAB recently delivered more early literacy materials to Albuquerque Public Schools in support of the McKinney-Vento program.

We’re honored to share that Global Give-A-Book has been awarded the 2025 Ignited Award, becoming the first nonprofit ever to receive this recognition.

GGAB joined LOV Foundation and the Del Norte Credit Union for their 4th Annual Back to School Event in Española, NM. GGAB shared culturally diverse children’s books with local families, helping young readers start the school year with inspiration and opportunity.
